Shay Yellow Horn Memorial Bursary

Honoring Legacy and Empowering Futures with the Shay Yellow Horn Memorial Bursary

At Community Futures Treaty 7 (CFT7), we believe that education is one of the strongest paths toward empowerment and community growth. The Shay Yellow Horn Memorial Bursary was created to honor the life and legacy of Shay Yellow Horn, whose commitment to learning, leadership, and community continues to inspire the next generation of Treaty 7 members.

Supporting the Next Generation of Leaders

The bursary provides financial support to First Nations students enrolled in college, university, skilled trades, or apprenticeship programs. It recognizes the dedication of those working hard to build brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their Nations.

Education opens doors, not just for individuals, but for entire communities. This bursary is one way CFT7 continues to invest in Treaty 7 members’ success and celebrate the strength that comes from perseverance and learning.
